This app offers three different versions of online dominoes:

1. Five-Up (also known as Muggins or All Fives)
2. Draw (or open variation)
3. Block (or closed variation)

Dominoes is a 2-player game of skill that involves 28 dominos. At the start of the game, each player receives 7 or 9 dominos, depending on the variation.

The objective of dominos is to be the first player to reach the agreed-upon number of points, which can range from 100 to 500.

Five-Up Variation:

In the Five-Up variation, points are scored during gameplay by making the exposed ends of the domino chain add up to a multiple of five. Additionally, at the end of each hand, the winner earns points for all the pips remaining in the other player's hand. This variation allows players to choose between 7-bone or 9-bone hand variations.

The game starts with a random shuffling of tiles and the distribution of 7 or 9 tiles (also called bones or dominoes) to each player. The remaining dominoes are placed in the boneyard, which can be drawn from when a player is unable to make a move. The player with double six begins if it's the first hand of the game. If none of the players have double six, then double five is called for and so on until a player has the called-for tile. Subsequently, the winner of the previous hand starts the next game.

The first player to use all of their tiles wins the hand. Once the winning piece is placed on the chain, the players expose their remaining tiles for scoring. No further plays can be made, and the game may reach a blocked or jammed state where no tiles can be played.

If a player doesn't have any tiles that match the exposed ends of the chain, they must draw from the boneyard until they have a playable tile.

Draw Variation:

In this variation, points are not awarded during gameplay for making multiples of five. Points are only awarded at the end of each hand.

Each player attempts to match the pips on one end of a tile from their hand with the pips on an open end of any tile in the chain. If a player is unable to make a match, they pass their turn. Each player can play only one tile per turn. If a player cannot make a move, they must draw from the boneyard until they have a playable tile. If there are no tiles left in the boneyard, the player passes their turn. The first player to get rid of all their dominoes wins the hand. If none of the players can make a move, the game ends in a block. In such cases, players turn their tiles face-up for counting. The player with the lowest total earns points (1 point per pip) for all the tiles remaining in their opponent's hand. The overall winner is determined by reaching the agreed-upon number of points (100-500) first.

Block Variation:

This variation is similar to the Draw variation mentioned above, with the exception that no player can draw from the boneyard. If none of the players can make a move, the hand ends in a block. Players turn their tiles face-up for counting, and the player with the lowest total earns points (1 point per pip) for the tiles remaining in their opponent's hand. The overall winner is determined by reaching the final number of points (100-500) first.

Since this is an online domino game, an internet connection is required. The app automatically reconnects if the connection is lost, and it performs well with both Wi-Fi and 3G connections.
